COMPOSITION USEFUL FOR MAINTAINING PREGNANCY, PREVENTING ABORTION AND PROMOTING GROWTH OF EMBRYO (FETUS)

PURPOSE:To obtain a composition, containing a yeast as an active ingredient and having effects on maintenance of pregnancy, prevention of abortion and growth promotion of fetuses (embryos). CONSTITUTION:A composition is obtained by including a yeast, e.g. beer yeast, baker's yeast or Torula yeast, containing much proteins, essential amino acids, various vitamins, minerals of good quality, etc., in ingredients thereof and having high safety as an active ingredient. The aforementioned composition is used as a medicine or food and nutritional abortion and immature infants can be prevented for pregnant women causing iron-deficient anemia by pregnancy in addition to latent iron deficiency especially deficient in stored iron. The composition can safely be used for both mothers and infants and is excellent in nutrition, etc.
