摘要

PURPOSE:To enhance the conversion of CO2 and the selectivity of methanol in the catalytic hydrogenating reaction of CO2 by preparing a CuO-ZnO-Cr2O3- Al2O3-Ag type catalyst subjected to reducing treatment. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution of water-soluble salts of Cu, Zn, Cr and Al is brought into contact with NH3 gas in a standing state to be gelled and this gel is dried and baked. This baked one, X1 is physically mixed with a component X2 obtained by impregnating Al2O3 with a water-soluble salt of Ag and subjecting the impregnated one to drying, hydrogenation and hydrogen reduction to obtain a CuO-ZnO-Cr2O3-Al2O3-Ag type catalyst having a composition consisting of CuO 15-35wt.%, ZnO 20-50wt.%, Cr2O3 0.5-5wt.%, Al2O3 25-45wt.% and Ag 0.5-8wt.%. This catalyst is further subjected to reducing treatment by H2 before use. A gaseous mixture based on CO2 and H2 is supplied to a reactor and brought into contact with the CuO-ZnO-Cr2O3-Al2O3-Ag type catalyst subjected to reducing treatment to be converted to gas rich in methanol.
