SHEETLIKE MOLDING MATERIAL AND BOTH ENDS TREATMENT DEVICE OF SHEETLIKE MOLDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To peel off simply a carrier film at the time of making use of the subject device by preventing a flexible compound from forcing out through both the ends, by a method wherein vicinities of both ends of widthwise direction of carrier films placing both sides of a top and bottom of the compound between the carrier films are welded by heat sealing. CONSTITUTION:At the time of operation of heat sealing, a cylinder rod 35 is held under an extended state and an outer circumferential end face of a torus roll of heating rolls 40A, 40B of a heat seal roll 33 are pressure-contacted with one side of a sheetlike molding material, that is, a carrier film FI, in a heat sealing device. A pressure contacting position is about 10cm from both ends of a widthwise direction of a sheetlike molding material and pressure-contacted at a width of about 5mm. Since tensile force is applied to the sheetlike molding material, the upper and lower films F2, F1 which are in a laminated state by only pressure contacting on one surface are welded each other by the pressure contacting by an end face of an outer circumference of the toruslike roll. With this construction, the heat sealing part is formed and the upper and lower films F2, F1 are separated from each other as they are up to both end fringes from the heat sealing part.
