CUTTING DEVICE FOR BLOCKING SUBSTANCE IN PIPELINE AND CUTTING AND REMOVAL METHOD OF BLOCKING SUBSTANCE IN PIPELINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of blocking substance in a pipeline by thrusting a support holding a cutting tool at the center of the pipeline and a tool driving air motor into the pipeline with flexible wire rod. CONSTITUTION:A front end cutting tool 4 and its driving air motor 6 are supported by a center support 5 in a nearly horizontal pipeline 2 that allows a cable communicating between manholes 1, etc., to pass through so that they position at the center. The cutting tool 4 and the air motor 6 are connected with a universal joint 8, and, at the same time, the air motor 6 is connected to a compressor 11 and a water tank truck 10 above the ground through a hose. With these means, blocking substance 5 that blocks inside the pipeline 2 is cut and also discharged by water. Also, the cutting tool 4 and the air motor 6 can perform cutting along the pipeline 2 because of the joint 8 even curves exist in the pipeline 2. The cutting tool 4, the center support 5, the joint 8 and the air motor 6 are made capable of cutting while moving by thrusting the flexible wire edging material 7 with human power.
