CERTIFICATE DISCHARGE CONTROL METHOD IN CERTIFICATE ISSUING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous issue of a certificate by constituting the above system so that when abnormal data is printed, or printing is executed in a state shifted from a correct printing position, it is decided to be an abnormal certificate and it is discharged to a different discharge port from that of a normal certificate. CONSTITUTION:A terminal control part 2 gives an instruction to a certificate issuing device 4 so that a certificate of a classification instructed from a host station 1 is carried to a printing part 7 from a hopper 8, and when the certificate is carried to the printing part 7, discrimination data affixed to the certificate is read by a bar-code reader 9, and compared with discrimination data received from the host station 1 and decided. When they are matched with each other, the certificate issuing device 4 executes printing to the certificate, based on received printing data, decides whether printing is executed normally or not, and in the case printing is executed normally, the certificate is discharged to a stacker 5. When at least one of them is incorrect or not normal is decided at the time of decision, its fact is displayed on a display 3, and also, the certificate is discharged to an inserter 6. In such a way, the erroneous issue of the certificate is prevented.
