SYSTEM FOR ACQUIRING AND RECORDING SIGNALS FROM A SET OF SENSORS IN WELL PROBES

ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: System for the acquisition and recording of signals provided by a set of sensors disposed in one or more probes lowered into a well at the end of a multi-function cable. The various signals to be transmitted are multiplexed before being applied to an acquisition system adapted to amplify, digitize and encode them before applying them to a transmission path in the form of word blocks scanned. The multiplexing means may comprise a plurality of multiplexing units. The sampling frequency of each signal and the constitution word blocks are adapted to the number of actually used units. In the moved-tion surface, the words of blocks are separated and stored in a memory on a single method suitable for all blocks regardless of their constitution. The invention finds application in seismic exploration in drilling for example.
