Introduction of commands to a microprocessor-controlled video recorder

On the video recorder, which is equipped with a numeric keypad for entering operating functions and with an alphanumeric display, the numeric keypad is additionally used for entering code numbers, whereby special functions not in the normal operating program of the video recorder are initiated. It is proposed to enter in addition to the code number a time, by which the special function initiated by the code number is terminated, if it has not already been terminated beforehand by renewed entry of a code number.
