The invention will find application in particular with constructors of tooling, more especially for the building industry. The guide strip (1) comprises a face (4) for fixing to the metallic wall forms and has high rigidity in the longitudinal plane transverse to this fixing face (4). The guide strip (1) is made up from a flexible material such as an extruded section made from polyurethane elastomer. It is given its rigidity by the presence of longitudinal flexible rods (7 and 8) which extend into the body (2) of the guide strip (1) at the same distance from the fixing face (4). These flexible rods made from parallel glass fibres impregnated with a thermosetting resin, such as an epoxy or a vinyl ester, enable the deformation of the guide strip to be channelled in a single direction, in this case the bending of the magnetic fixing face (4).
