New diagnostic test for testing the susceptibility of individuals with inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, and means for evaluating a potential treatment of arthritis using therapeutics directed at the central nervous system ( SNC), designed to circumvent the impairment of the CNS. The invention also provides a means of evaluation and prediction of response to stress in individuals. Against a regulatory feedback-loop between the immune and nervous systems central, in which immune mediators or proinflammatory stimulate activation of corticotropin releasing hormone (HLC) of hormonal cascade of the hypothalamic-pituitary axis -surrénal (HPS). The resulting increase in plasma glucocorticoids serves to restrict and limit the intensity of the inflammatory-immune response, via the immunosuppressive action / powerful anti-inflammatory glucocorticoids.
