For multiplying the read-out velocity of an image signal from an optical image memory w.r.t. the address velocity of the same optical memory is carried out without dependence of addressing and scanning carried out simultaneously and for continuous course of a TV projector. First the image memory is adjusted to a transport velocity, at which several image frames per image address period are moved and projected at a velocity, at which they are retarded by an image frame interval per each address period. An image is read-out over each address line, after the address period, the address lines are reset towards the starting point, while the image frames are sequentially moved into the image window and projected. USE/ADVANTAGE - For glimmer reduction, with facility for processing very high video band widths.
