The surface-working and seeding device (1) has a frame (2), which via a shaft and ground wheels (4,5) is towed by a tractor (6) with a pin shaft (7). On the frame, are bearers (8) in the form of ploughshare handles, at the lower end of which is a ploughshare (9). A gear (10) is connected to the pin shaft (7) which drives a drum (11), on the surface of which are radially running fingers which breakdown any plant growth on the soil surface. Also on the frame is a seed container (13) from which seed is fed to the handles, and thence to the ploughshare. Seed movement is by means of compressed air.ploughshare plate-shaped with a peripheral cutting edge, and its central handle accommodates a seed feed. USE/ADVANTAGE - In agriculture, to prepare soil, sow seeds, and cover the seeds in a combined operation.
