摘要
In making drinks from at least two components, each component is measured in a separate dosing vessel before the components are mixed. A quantity of a second component is placed in the dosing vessel of at least one first component, and the quantity of the first component which is necessary to give the required proportional mixt. is then added to this dosing vessel. The quantity of the second component which is placed in the dosing vessel is measured, and the quantity of the first component to be added is determined by this measurement and by the quantity of the second component which is held in its own dosing vessel. In the making of a drink from water and syrup, the first component would be the syrup and the second the water. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used in preparing drinks from two or more liq. components. The addn. of the second component (e.g. water) to the dosing vessel of the first component (e.g. syrup) enables mixing of the syrup to commence in the dosing vessel and reduces problems arising from the higher viscosity and stickiness of the syrup, such as possible blockages of the outlet pipes. Residual quantities of the first component can also be put to use, since the quantity of the second component is adjusted to suit the available quantity of the first component.
