The uses several main masses (2-5) connected by sprung-damper paths (6-8). At least one such path is formed by a series-connection of a first spring and a damper, with which a second damper is in parallel to the first one. At the node point between the first spring (15, 17) and the damper (9, 11) is an auxiliary mass (18, 20). Pref. the main masses are interconnected in a mesh-free manner by the sprung-damper paths. The second spring (12, 14) is connected to the auxiliary mass. Four main masses are provided i.e. a pelvis mass (2), a torso mass (3), a shoulder mass (4), and a head mass (5), the torso mass connected to all the others. USE/ADVANTAGE - For comparative, ergonomic research, with computable, or at least estimable parameters.
