Prodn. consists of mixing steel fibre bound together in rubber with non-inflammable solid concrete components. The rubber is then burnt off as the mixt. is mechanically stirred and after cooling, possible fluxing and/or additive agents together with cement and water are added to form the concrete in the usual way. USE/ADVANTAGE - Producing industrial concrete floors, aircraft landing runway, wear-resistant coatings for concrete roads, renovating floors, parts for garages, concrete safes, bridge coatings and concrete tubes. Enables a uniform dispersion of the steel fibres inside the concrete
