Sports practice net with high stiffness - is useful for tennis or badminton training

Net is in the form of a plastics-reinforced fine-meshed textile net (11) which, when mounted between transportable posts (13) has a stiffness both in the horizontal and vertical tension direction which imparts high angular rigidity to the mesh structure in the net plane. Pref. the reinforcing material is a polyester resin, the posts (13) consist of glass fibre-reinforced plastics profiles, the posts are seated in cast plastics bases (12) (pref. of recycled material, e.g. PVC with additives) and the net has a plastics top cord (22) and plastics side cords, the side cords being reinforced by insertion of glass fibre-reinforced plastics rods. ADVANTAGE - The practice net can be mounted with an almost exactly horizontal upper edge and can be used with lightweight posts and bases while having the requisite two-dimensional stiffness.
