On the side of the uncleaned mattress, the station features a transfer device for the mattresses to be removed from bed frames. The device is equipped with a tilting component for placing at least one mattress in an upright position on the transport means. On the 'clean side', the invention features controllable means for tilting the cleaned mattress into a flat positon. These means are equipped with a device for transferring the mattress on to a bed frame. ADVANTAGE - The invention improves the efficiency of mattress cleaning and facilitates the handling of mattresses.
