An arrangement for making nuclear magnetic resonance measurements on biological objects has a container or tube flattened on one side fixed to the body surface by an integrated adhesive strip. It is attached so that the body position is marked and the container follows the shape of the body. The tube or container is adapted for particular measurements, e.g. thermal stability, nuclear magnetic resonance characteristics and flexibility by making it of appropriate material. The adhesive is a long or short duration one according to the measurments. USE/ADVANTAGE - For clinical and experimental n.m.r. investigations. Signals carrier shape and material can be matched to conditions and characteristics required for different measurements.
