Self locking differential gear with bolt - has housing from which protrude driven shafts, with differential bevel gear, friction pieces and spring adjustments

The self-locking differential gear has a bolt (4) through a differential cage housing (1) crosswise to its pivot axle (2) from at least one differential bevel gear (5). Driven shafts (7) protrude from the housing (1) at opposite ends and have, a flanged (19) end facing the bolt (4) and supported on the housing (1) by an outer pressure bearing (20). A driven bevel gear (6) acts with axial sloping pieces (8). A set of friction pieces (23), tensioned by sprung pieces (11), has an inner disc carrier as a driven bevel gear's (6) axial hub extension (22), and an outer disc carrier as a differential cage housing's (1) inner section. Adjustments (15-118) operated by the differential bolt's (4) central inner holes are positioned between sprung pieces' (11) contact surfaces (15) and a pressure-plate (12). ADVANTAGE - The gear's tension is varied outside the housing.
