The system for electronic management of injection and ignition of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine comprises a means of detecting the position of the engine, an integrated circuit (3) which carries out the processing, the counting and the measurement of the duration of the teeth and is linked to a microprocessor (4) which manages injection and/or ignition commands, a secondary circuit (10) driven by the integrated circuit, the microprocessor and the synchronisation signal sent by the integrated circuit in order to supply an ignition signal which is effective as from the first top-dead-centre of the engine, in such a way as to achieve rapid starting of the engine.
