WARNING DEVICE FOR CAR LUBRICATING OIL CHANGE TIMING

PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a warning device as a whole and make it inexpensive in terms of production, by installing a deterioration index operational device, calculating a deterioration index of lubricating oil, and also a warning device, warning a driver of lubricating oil change at a time when this deterioration index reaches to the specified critical value. CONSTITUTION:There are provided with a reference value setting device 13, which sets a reference value showing a degree of deterioration in lubricating oil on the basis of a car's driving hysteresis, and a compensation value setting device 14 which sets a compensation value compensating the said reference value on the basis of opening conditions of a swing valve for a turbocharger. A deterioration index operational device 15 calculates a deterioration index showing the actual degree of deterioration in the lubricating oil. A warning device 16 warns a drive of lubricating oil change when the deterioration index reaches to the specified critical value. Thus, the structure of a warning device becomes simplified as a whole, making it inexpensive in manufacture.
