HELP MESSAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM FOR JAPANESE-LANGUAGE INPUT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To enable a Japanese-language input system user to easily and early master the operation method then and there by displaying a help message in each state in the Japanese-language input system. CONSTITUTION:An input data discriminating means 2 receives the key inputted from a first input means 1 to decide which function should be executed. A function execution means 3 executes the function taken out by the input data discriminating means 2, and the result is displayed on a display means 4. A next operation discriminating means 5 detects the state of the Japanese-language input system after function execution in the function execution means 3 and discriminates which function can be executed by each key in this state. A function group list generating means 6 receives the result from the next operation discriminating means 5 and displays its contents on a display means 4 as a form of a pop up menu. A help message generating means 8 generates message explanation sentences by the input selected by a second input means and the next operation discriminating means 5 to generate a help message display. The generated help message is displayed on the display means 4.
