PURPOSE: To provide the method and device which enable an operator of a multi-series NC machine tool to confirm the effective series in operation at a glance while looking at an operation screen (display device). ;CONSTITUTION: On the multi-series NC device consisting of the display device 104 equipped with a keyboard for inputting data, a data file 109 stored with data on machines, tools, works, etc., and a storage part stored with multi-series NC programs 114, 115, and 116 by which a lathe operates, series by series, respective series are displayed on the display device 104 while colored according to the operation states and nonoperation states of the multi-series NC programs 114, 115, and 116.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
