FLATNESS MEASURING DEVICE AND CONTROLLER FOR CONTINUOUS ROLLING MILL PROVIDED WITH THIS FLATNESS MEASURING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide controllers for a flatness measuring device and a continuous rolling mill for remarkably reducing the length of a product bad in flatness accuracy which appears surely at a starting point part for coiling. ;CONSTITUTION: The flatness measuring devices provide a flatness meter 3 mounted between stands of the continuous rolling mill or on the outlet side of a final stand and a pressing roll 4, a 1st moving means 10 which retreats the pressing roll 4 to the upper part of the pass line before passing a strip and lowers the pressing roll 4 directly after passing the strip, a 2nd moving means 9 which holds the flatness meter 3 on the lower side of the pass line before the press roll 4 falls and moves the rolled stock so that the flatness measuring surface is positioned above the pass line directly after the pressing roll 4 presses the rolled stock 40. Further, the controller of the continuous rolling mill is provided with a flatness actuator 11 arranged symmetrically on a driving side and an operating side and a flatness controller 12 to control the flatness actuator 11 independently by the driving side and the operating side seeing from the center of the strip width direction based on the above said flatness measuring devices (3, 4, 9, 10) and the measured values of these flatness measuring devices.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
