摘要

PURPOSE: To provide the method for manufacturing an Fe-Cr-Al alloy excellent in oxidation resistance and high temp. brittleness resistance, a catalytic carrier using it and alloy foil. ;CONSTITUTION: An alloy contg., by weight ≤0.05% C, ≤0.02% N, ≤0.5% Si, ≤1.0% Mn, 10 to 28% Cr, 1 to 10% Al and 0.0003 to 0.010% B and furthermore contg. 0.01 to 0.20% La and 0.01 to 1.0% as well as satisfying the inequality (I) (0.1≤Zr%/La%≤20) and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is constituted.
