MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR VAGUENESS OF FUZZY INFERENCE

PURPOSE: To permit a user to unify a method for expressing vaguness to input data once when vagueness included in knowledge is expressed by 'conviction degree' and 'fuzzy set' in an expert system construction support tool and the like and to execute fuzzy inference by means of considering two types of vagueness. ;CONSTITUTION: When vagueness included in knowledge is expressed by 'conviction degree' and 'fuzzy set' in fuzzy inference in which a knowledge base 31 is expressed by an inference rule 32, 'fuzzy set' is kept by a value obtained by multiplying the regular value of the membership function by 'conviction degree', and an input/output means 2 as against the user is caused to express vagueness by the system.
