摘要

PURPOSE:To stably and efficiently generate high-density flow of uranium atom vapor by focusing and projecting pulse laser light to a metal uranium target body and sweeping or fixing the focal point thereof to heat the specified area of the target body. CONSTITUTION:The metal uranium target body 5 is disposed in a reduced pressure chamber 1 and is supported freely rotatably via a fulcrum shaft 6. The pulse laser light L1 of high output generated by a pulse laser light source 7 is focused and is swung vertically and horizontally to sweep or fix the irradiated surface of the metal uranium target body 5 by the focal point O. A reflecting mirror driving controller 12 controls respective reflecting mirrors 9, 10 so as to distribute the focal point O uniformly over the desired range on the outside surface of the metal uranium target body 5. The metal uranium target body 5 in the part irradiated with the pulse laser light L1 is instantaneously melted and evaporated and the vapor flow of the metal uranium is generated.
