TAPE DRIVING MECHANISM PROVIDED WITH MULTIGAP TYPE READING/WRITING HEAD TO BE USED WITH READER BLOCK TAPE CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: To make an overall tape driving mechanism light in weight by miniaturizing a control circuit and a servo circuit so that the control circuit and the servo circuit can be set on a PC board adjacently to the neighborhood of the bottom of a main frame, and using an LSI circuit. ;CONSTITUTION: The most outside end of a finger piece part 48a of a supporting plate 48 is connected with the residual part of the supporting plate with a differential screw 76, and the differential screw 76 is mounted through a connector. A head 76a of the differential screw 76 is rotated by a screw driver so that the most outside end of the finger piece part can be flexible up and down against the residual part of the supporting plate. A reading/writing head 46 is mounted on a C-shaped azimuth adjusting block 80 having a flexible part 80a. Another differential screw 82 is extended through one leg 80b of the block 80, and this screw 82 is rotated at the time of final assembly, the block is bended at the flexible part 80a, and the azimuth of a head to a tape is adjusted.
