The adaptor has an electrical contact surface (9) for connection to a hollow shaped electrode conductor (2) implanted in the patient's heart. The contact surface is connected to an electrically conducting, wedge-shaped holding pin (18) which is inserted into the hollow space of the electrode conductor (2) and clamped by its surfaces (17). The holding pin is pref. cone-shaped with ball-shaped holding pieces (16) on its wedge-shaped surface in the longitudinal direction. ADVANTAGE - Reduced dimensions, allows secure connection to electrodes of different diameters, with min. inconvenience to patient.
