The electrode is made of a superconducting ceramic having a Perowskite structure. A 1st layer is deposited on a substrate, followed by a barrier layer to form a contact and then 2nd layer. The substrate has planes divided by a stepwise ramp, the angle of inclination of the ramp is chosen so that on deposition, an undisrupted growth in the region of the ramp occurs. After deposition of the 1st layer, an insulation layer is applied and the direction of deposition is chosen so that the stepwise ramp lies in the shadow of the direction of deposition. Finally, the barrier layer is deposited to form the contact, where the deposition is directed to the ramp and on which the 2nd layer is deposited.
