Quasi-homo-kinetic wide angle double cardan joint - has centring element and standard joint forming chain with two degrees of movement

A tri-spherical centring element is designed at both ends as a ball and has in between on the same axis a laterally off-set third ball wherein each ball forms a joint with the drive shaft, driven shaft and double fork. The centre sphere can form a ball joint with the double fork. The centring device aligns the double fork (5) so that the angle and the cardan joints are practically always equal and the lack of synchronisation is practically always nil. USE - Quasi-homo-kinetic joint esp. for cardan joint gearing between tractors and implements.
