Inside the housing is a tensioned membrane which is activated on each side by the pressure of a connecting conduit. In the unloaded state the membrane seals off a third conduit connection leading to a reservoir. The membrane has at least one through aperture which is dimensioned that with a sudden pressure drop on the output side the outlet conduit is cut off and the third conduit is opened. The reservoir is at least partially evacuated and is formed by an injector. The membrane on the side facing the output connection has a seal body with a conical seat. USE/ADVANTAGE - Used as a safety arrangement for a valve in an infusion or injection conduit between a pressure appts. and a patient.
