Method of producing a cement-containing support plate clad with a natural stone plate consists of placing the cladding plate with its worked side face down in a mould. The upper face has a saw roughened surface and is painted with a cement adhesive. Before the adhesive hardens, fresh cement is poured in and allowed to set. ADVANTAGE - Is economic method of producing a durable multilayered plate without the fear of hair-line cracks in the cement leading to wastage.
