The fuselage nose for a model aeroplane containing an engine (4) has a shaft (5) protruding out of the nose, and a propeller-holder (6) with propeller (7). A cap (10) which rotates with the engine-shaft is positioned in front of the propeller and tapers forwards. The cap has coaxial air-inlet (14) at the front end surface. Between the air-inlet and the engine is a fan (15) driven by the engine. The fan has radially inward-pointing ridges (16) on the inner surface of the cap (10). In front of the engine is a fuselage transverse frame (2) with air inlets. The propeller holder has an outward-pointing flange (9). Each ridge fits through a slot (17) and has a parallel sprung tongue (18) with protuberance (19). USE/ADVANTAGE - The fuselage nose allows the engine to cool without impairing the gliding properties of the model aeroplane.
