Arrangement is for distributing a fluid material, e.g. hot asphalt or bitumen, over a strip of ground, partic. a road, by means of a jet arrangement that can be moved over the strip in the lengthwise direction and which sprays the material over the ground. The nozzle arrangement has at least two groups of nozzles. Each group can spray the whole breadth of the strip, but the nozzles of one group are arranged differently from those of the other group, and either group can be selected for use. USE/ADVANTAGE - Distribution of the hot material is quickly adjustable to suit different requirements.
