The roller cutter (1) may be used on a machine for mining or tunnelling. It is fitted with roller drills at intervals (11,12,16,17,18) from each side (8) along the cutting surface (9) to its ends (10). On the ends of the cutting surface there are double rows (13) of roller drills, and the remainder are in single rows (14). The roller drills are equipped with steel ring teeth. USE/ADVANTAGE - Roller cutter mining machine can cut solid and abrasive rock without disproportionate increase in operating pressure.
