The DC servomotor controller sets the motor in motion, reverses it or switches it off and is connected between earth and the output of a voltage regulator, itself supplied from a vehicle battery. An input is taken from a position element driven by the motor. The voltage regulator is in parallel with a bypass switch activated by a starting condition recognition circuit. This circuit momentarily short-circuits the regulator when the starting current in the motor is detected. The recognition circuit incorporates a difference circuit and a timing circuit. The device is suitable for heating or air-conditioning systems, carburettor mixture control or seat position control. ADVANTAGE - Simple inexpensive device ensuring that servomotor can move position element away from its end position without jamming.
