In a first step a first magnetic gradient field is applied to a patient in a defined direction and nuclear spin is stimulated in a first selected region of the patient using a first HF pulse (102). In a second step a second, different gradient field is applied in the defined direction and nuclear spin stimulated in a second selected region using a second HF pulse (106). The second region at least partly overlaps the first region. USE/ADVANTAGE - Producing tomogram using new method and arrangement preventing disturbances without reducing throughput of patients or increasing HF pulse generation power amplifier's power level.
