A flexible, universal wooden construction element is particularly suitable for assembling three-dimensional structures and collapsible furniture allowing a complex design for shows and exhibitions, markets and fairs, as well as for interior decoration. The wooden construction element consists of connecting nodes (1) with 1 to 8 horizontal binder connections, cylindrical stays (2), connecting screws (3), horizontal binders (4), vertical uprights (5), covering caps (6) and foot elements (7). The connecting nodes (1) are provided with longitudinal grooves (10) for adjusting the horizontal binders (4) and the vertical uprights (5) are provided with groove-like recesses (12) for fitting into the horizontal binders (4). The invention allows not only space-delimiting wall element constructions to be built but also reception desks, tables, podiums, cupboards, shelves, show cases, benches, etc.
