PURPOSE: To provide a device and method capable of transplanting and processing a seedling whose root part is air-pruning-processed to a transplanting area. ;CONSTITUTION: A bottom having many holes and a screen enabling air-pruning- processing of the root part of a seedling and a seedling tray, which houses a seedling growing medium such as soil, peat cakes, peat mixture for enabling raising of seedlings and opens its top and bottom parts are mounted in the state of being freely attachable and detachable to simultaneously extract the seedling block or the seedling block and water from the seedling tray to transplant to the transplanting area.
