LETTERING METHOD AND BASE MATERIAL SHEET FOR LETTERING

PURPOSE: To eliminate a possibility of dislodging, etc., and to improve durability by bringing the tacky adhesive surface of a sheet into contact with the surfaces of the characters and figures with which a base material surface is printed, then peeling and transferring the characters and images from the base material sheet to this tacky adhesive surface. ;CONSTITUTION: Printing paper 1 is printed 2 by a word processor, etc., and this printing 2 is copied onto the base material sheet 4 by using a dry process copying machine by which toner characters 3 are formed. A transparent tacky adhesive tape 5 is press adhered onto the toner characters 3 obtd. in such a manner and thereafter, the characters are peeled to form the transferred toner characters (reflected images) 6 on the tacky adhesive surface. The tacky adhesive tape 5 is then stuck to the surface of a receptor 7, by which lettering is completed. The dislodgment of the toner characters 6, etc., by the influence from the outside, etc., by friction, etc., do not arise with this lettering as the toner characters 6 are coated and protected with the transparent tacky adhesive tape 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
