PURPOSE: To obtain a method for properly centering a fish body so as to surely form notches along the backbone in each cut block taken out in cutting the surface of the cut round slice of the fish body in cutting the fish body into the round slice and a device therefor and an apparatus for cutting the fish body into the round slice using them. ;CONSTITUTION: The head and tail sides of a fish body (X) are clamped with a head clamping device 30 and a tail clamping device 31. The tail of the fish body (X), together with the tail clamping device 31, is moved right and left with a horizontal movable device 32 to center the fish body (X) in the horizontal direction. The fish body, together with the tail clamping device 31, is then moved in the vertical directions with a vertical moving device 33 to center the fish body (X) in the vertical directions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
