PURPOSE: To obtain a culture medium for the serum-free culture and to provide a method for culturing for providing the proliferation of a fibroblast derived from an animal comparable to that by adding blood serum, under serum-free conditions. ;CONSTITUTION: This culture medium for the serum-free culture is obtained by adding ≥1.8mM calcium ions to MCDB153 culture medium as a basal culture medium.
