SIMULATION DEVICE FOR METEORIC BURST COMMUNICATION PATH

PURPOSE: To simply implement the evaluation test of a meteoric burst communication equipment by forming terminals symmetrical to input and output so that while the other is used for an output terminal, one is used for an input terminal and connecting two sets of transmitter-receiver sets respectively to an input terminal and to an output terminal of the device and executing the evaluation test. ;CONSTITUTION: A signal having a frequency and a voltage is sent from a terminal 1 to a terminal 2 or the signal is sent from the terminal 2 to the terminal 1 conversely, then attenuators 3-6 are all symmetrical attenuators and the attenuators 3, 6 are variable attenuators. A control signal to provide attenuation to programmable symmetrical attenuators 4, 5 is programmed in advance and stored in a host computer 7. Every time a pulse simulating an occurrence time of a meteoric burst channel is generated, the host computer 7 reads and executes the program. Then a part between the terminals 1, 2 acts like a circuit simulating the falling star burst channel and the evaluation test is easily executed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
