PURPOSE: To provide a cyclodextrin clathrate compound of an end-capped guest polymer. ;CONSTITUTION: α-Cyclodextrin and poly(ethyleneglycol)bisamine are subjected to a clathrate compound-forming reaction, and the obtained clathrate compound is reacted with 2,4-dinitrophenylfluoride to prepare the end-capped α-cyclodextrin clathrate compound. By end-capping both the ends of the guest polymer in the α-cyclodextrin clathrate compound of the polymeric compound such as polyethylene glycol, effects such as the modification of the polymeric compound or the addition of a crosslinking property to the polymeric compound can be expected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
