OIL MIXING PREVENTING DEVICE FOR UNDERGROUND TANK AT GAS STATION

PURPOSE: To prevent oil mixing by a method wherein the kind of oil in an underground tank is informed in a voice in response to a signal to command opening of a valve, so that the oil kind can be discriminated by a driver not only through his attentive sight but also through hearing the voice, and further by other men who are in the surroundings. ;CONSTITUTION: If a select switch of an underground tank 1 into which oil is charged is turned ON, a voice corresponding to the underground tank is outputted by a memory 16 of a ROM or any other voice generator. Further, a select lamp indicating an oil kind is lighted up and an operation valve 5 is opened at the same time. If the underground tank 1 is almost filled up, the voice output is stopped, and a full amount alarm buzzer is turned ON. At the same time, the operation valve 5 is closed to stop the oil feeding, the select lamp is extinguished, and an overflow lamp is lighted up. Thus, when oil is supplied into any one of the underground tanks 1 from a tank rolley R, the kind of oil can be confirmed, even when the oil kind is changed over by switching of the operation valve 5, with an oil feeding pipe R-1 is connected to one of oil feeding ports.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
