PURPOSE: To safely prevent the freezing or hoarfrost damage to a plant at a low cost without requiring any technique and labor by preparing the spaying solution of a wax, resin, etc., as an aqueous solution or emulsion in response to the nature of the wax, resin, etc., and subsequently spraying the spray solution on the surface of a plant to cover the plant with the wax, resin, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: A spraying solution is prepared from a wax such as vegetable wax, animal wax or petroleum wax and/or a resin. e.g. a water-soluble natural resin such as gelatin, glue, agar, starch or gum arabic, a chemically modified water-soluble natural resin such as aminoalkylstarch, dextrin or methyl cellulose, or a water-soluble synthetic resin such as polyvinyl alcohol, polyacrylamide, polyethylene oxide or vinyl ether polymer, as a water-soluble solution or emulsion in response to the natures of the wax and/or the resin.
