EXECUTION SUPERVISION DEVICE IN VIBRATION COMPACTION CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR SATURATED SAND GROUND

PURPOSE: To simply and economically supervise execution based on an index closely related to the degree of compaction (sand liquefaction strength) by means of a very simple device integrated with a comaction executing machine. ;CONSTITUTION: A strainer 14 is provided in the required location of a hollow testing pipe 11 jointed its upper part in such a manner as to be freely vibrated by a shaker 6. A water receiving chamber 15 is provided in the pipe corresponding to the location of the strainer 14. A water supply pipe 18 is connected between the water receiving chamber 15 and the water introducing chamber 19 of a testing device 16 installed on ground. An excessive pore water pressure meter 19 is installed on the water introducing chamber 17. An accelerometer 22 is installed at inside or outside the testing pipe 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
