MACHENISM FOR OPENING LID OF CASSETTE IN VIDEO TAPE PLAYER

PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity for positioning a lid opening mechanism for a small tape cassette in the mouth part of a large tape cassette. ;CONSTITUTION: The mechanism is provided with a lid opening lever 36 capable of erecting for the small tape cassette pressed to an erecting position by a torsion spring 40, a trigger lever 41 capable of erecting and having a pressed projection 44 the upper end part of which is freely rotatably connected with the upper part of the lid opening lever and which is positioned at higher position than a lid opening lever and a torsion spring 45 of small spring force pressing the trigger lever on the erecting position side. The pressed projection is positioned at the position opposite to the bottom part 21 of the large tape cassette 14 which is loaded, and at the time of loading the small tape cassette, the front lid 12 is opened by the lid opening lever locked to the erecting position by the trigger lever. Then, at the time of loading the large tape cassette, the bottom part presses the pressed projection and releases the lock of the lid opening lever by the trigger lever, then the lid opening lever is fallen by being pressed with the large tape cassette.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
