GROUND DEVELOPMENT TESTING DEVICE FOR DEVELOPMENT STRUCTURE FOR SPACE

PURPOSE: To perform a high reliable evaluation test by effecting reliable compensation for a moment. ;CONSTITUTION: An arm member 12 is attached to the tip of a wire 11 suspended from a development structure 10 and the intermediate part of an arm member 12 is rotatably arranged through an axle 12a. A moment compensation part 13 is arranged to the other end of the arm member 12 and through regulation of the center of gravity regulating mechanism 14 of the moment compensation part 13, the magnitude of a moment exerted on the arm member 12 by the influence of gravity is set to a value equal and in a reverse direction to that of a moment by gravity exerted on the development structure 10. This constitution causes execution of compensation for a moment owing to gravity exerted on the development structure 10 in a way that the arm member 12 is rotated through the wire 11 in linkage with development operation of the development structure 10, and achievement of an expected purpose.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
