PURPOSE: To provide an ion introduction device to percutaneously administrate a given total amount of an effective ingredient to a subject. ;CONSTITUTION: At least one of electrodes of the device is composed of a consumable electrode consisting of an electrochemically consumable material associated with an insulating support or a particular electron conduction support. A single consumable electrode or one of plural consumable electrodes is composed of a limited amount of the electrochemically consumable material, and the limited amount is selected so that the quantity of electricity necessary for the electrochemical consumption may correspond to the quantity of electricity necessary for administrating a given total amount of an effective ingredient to a subject.
